Persistence is defined to me as when someone has a task and tries to make it its best without giving up in the time between. This quality is important to the projects we do here at DRSS because when we do a project we do multiple drafts of it so we can accomplish the best we can. Well if someone lacks persistence then they do not do multiple drafts, and if they do not do multiple drafts then that project is not as good as it could be. I use persistence daily whether it’s me drawing a picture over again to make it look better, or me racing a friend again because the first time I lost, even me cooking something, accidently burning it and restarting it is persistence! The modern world we had today wouldn’t even exist if persistence disappeared. This is part of the reasons that this quality is a quality because it is something everyone needs to learn to survive on their own. This was a qualty that i included on my 'Poems In Mind' project just because of how long it took to fill the whole board of the word 'abstract' over and over for four hours straight which turned amazing, so many times I wanted to give up and come up with something new but I kept to what I was doing because I already started, it was something that would best symbol my project, and it will be turning against one of the five qualties that my school is based off of.
